Louis Head Beach Campground Policies

Welcome to Louis Head Beach Campground! We want you to have an enjoyable and safe stay with us, so please take a moment to review our policies.

10km/hr speed limit

No Black Garbage bags please

  • For the safety of all guests, the speed limit throughout the campground is strictly enforced and is set at 10 km/hr. Please be mindful of your speed and drive carefully to ensure the safety of all guests and wildlife. (Note: Speed Limit is strictly enforced)
  • We take fire safety seriously. Therefore, campfires are only permitted in designated fire pits and must be kept small, with flames no higher than 60 cm. Fire pits must not be moved at any time. Please attend your fire closely at all times and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving it unattended.
  • We also care about the environment and ask that you do too. Cutting of any trees and plant life is prohibited, as is rock removal. Please help us maintain the natural beauty of our campground by respecting these rules.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their visitors, and their property. Please report any damage to the office immediately.
  • Check-in time is between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and check-out time is 11:00 am. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please inquire with the office. All visitors must check in at the office upon arrival, pay appropriate fees, and park in the designated area. Day visitors are welcome from 10 am to 11 pm.
  • To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all our guests, quiet time is from 11 pm to 10 am. Please keep noise levels low enough so that the campsite beside you cannot be disturbed. Please note that during events, quiet time may be extended past 11 pm. The hall is available for use until quiet time.
  • Smoking is not permitted in any of the campground buildings. Please respect the space of non-smokers at all times and dispose of cigarette butts properly.
  • Seasonal campers are welcome at Louis Head Beach Campground, and may be permitted to have decks and sheds upon approval. Please note that any seasonal camper who leaves the site must remove their deck, shed, and any other personal property, and leave their site clean before removing their trailer.

We hope you have a wonderful time at Louis Head Beach Campground and encourage you to explore and enjoy our natural surroundings.
